Eats About Town
Milk And Roses is a gorgeous, intimate little bar/eatery in Greenpoint with bookcase walls, a piano in the center of the room and menus hand-written on old Italian postal envelopes. Wine list on the outside, food menu tucked inside.

The ladies' room is pretty sweet too. You know me.

Black Rabbit, a few blocks over, has some crazy good spicy beer and a 1950s-style television.

OOh I learned to make the most amazing Turkish salad!

Toss together some cucumbers, green bell peppers, tomatoes, feta cheese, lots of mint leaves, kalamata olives, oregano, olive oil and the juice of one lemon and you get THIS.

UH-MAY-ZING
Salad for breakfast? Yes! Dip some baguette in the juice, and then you will see what life is for.

The best tacos in New York are, without a doubt, at Pinche Taqueria at Bleecker and Lafayette. They catered the last big PS260 party and I watched a guy eat seven tacos in a row.

And finally, a bit more alfresco dining with hazelnut chocolate gelato and Frangelico at Caffe Dante on Macdougal and Bleecker.

Life is nice...
