My lovely French surrogate family came to visit last week! I was so happy to have a piece of my spring here with my summer.

We enjoyed a lot of sunsets, cocktails, et faire un tour de la ville.



What is this gorgeous, palatial, sunlit room, you ask? Why, it's Viviane's aunt's house, where they stayed for their week in New York. And where is that golden sun coming from?


Oh, it's just the salon's panoramic window.

Pas mal. I had such a great time with the Aubrys and Veronique... and even a bit of my French homesickness went away.
