Oh the small pleasures in life, the little bitty things that excite me...
1) A magic drawer that opens to reveal a hundred freshly sharpened No. 2 pencils...
2) The smell of a just-unwrapped pre-stretched canvas, ready for paint, ready for me, oh I love to stick my nose in that wooden nook and breathe and breathe and breathe...
Why do these things make me so happy? Must have something to do with the newness, the readiness, the absolute and limitless potential that each object holds.
